Microtech hearing aids

Our sense of hearing allows us become a part of our environment. It links us to the sounds around us and can lead us to feel the emotion in a song or the joy in a loved one's voice.

For some people, enjoying hearing related experiences such as conversations with friends and family is not as easy as it used to be. They are among the many who are suffering from hearing loss or impairment. Unfortunately, only one out of every five of these folks will seek out help, or look for other ways to improve their situation. This statistic is disappointing, since in most cases, their condition is treatable.

One of the most common treatments for people who have hearing impairment is the use of a hearing aid. Hearing aids use technology to help people to better hear and recognize sounds. Over the years, hearing aid technology has continued to improve and there are now a variety of companies offering products that effectively and efficiently help the user hear voices and sounds.

Microtech is one of these companies. Long trusted by hearing professionals and hearing aid users, Microtech provides hearing aids that use BluWave Signal Processing to help eliminate noise and feedback sounds as the user moves from one environment to another.

There are two general lines of hearing aids offered by Microtech: the Curve and the Radius.

Curve products are focused on providing users with comfort, style, and function; using the aforementioned BluWave Signal Processing to minimize noise and feedback. They are "automatic," which means that they are able to change modes when they detect a phone signal. Thereby allowing the user to have normal telephone conversations without having to take off or adjust their hearing aid. Curve hearing aides also use Active Feedback Intercept technology to eliminate almost all buzzing sounds and other unwanted noise.

The Curve product line is also equipped with technology to address one of the most common problems people with hearing impairment face: not being able to distinguish voices when in a noisy, crowded setting. Using a Directional Speech Detector, Microtech's Curve devices allow users to hear distinct voices, even when they are surrounded by large groups of people.

The second line offered by Microtech, the Radius line, includes the most up-to-date technology including: Active Feedback Intercept, BluWave Signal Processing, Voice Indicators, Follow-Up Reminders, and a Self Check. It also includes touch less technology so that you don't have to carry a remote to use Radius hearing aids, like you do for some other brands. Radius hearing aids are available in several different styles like the behind-the-ear (BTE), on-the-ear (OTE), in-the-ear (ITE), completely-in-the-canal (CIC), and the mini, which is the smallest device in the BTE line.

In addition to all the features and options listed above, the Radius hearing aids are also equipped with an Acoustic Signature feature that helps the device to adapt to various environments by adjusting the settings to be at the most efficient level. Like the Curve devices, the Radius hearing aids are available in various designs and styles, so you can pick the right one for your needs.

Between the Curve and Radius lines, Microtech offers a wide range of products to help those suffering from hearing impairment. With so many options available, those suffering from hearing loss shouldn't be afraid to ask for help, because better hearing is available from Microtech.
